Watermilfoil Permit Information

The following email was sent to the GLPOA as well as the attachments that you will find below the email message. The letter was broken down into four parts to make the download more manageable.

Good afternoon GLPOA representatives, City of Spicer, and DNR staff,

Attached is a copy (hard copies are in the mail) for the Green Lake off-shore Eurasian watermilfoil treatment and a permit decision for the near-shore milfoil treatment adjacent to Lions Park (City of Spicer). The letters included with each permit/permit decision explains the inspection process and those results, which I won't replicate in the text of this email. Note, I did hear word that there may be an additional site not included on the original permit application. If so, I ask that you please submit that site with GPS coordinates to me for my review. Also, on the application it was indicated that the treatments would be either conducted by you, the applicant, or by Lake Restoration. If a commercial applicator will be contracted please let me know so I can forward these permits to them for their records.

Please direct all correspondence regarding Aquatic Plant Management Permits to me so that the review process can be as expedited as possible. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you for your attention to this issue and I wish you the best of luck.
