| Who can be a
member of the Green Lake Property Owners Association? |
| Membership is open to property owners on Green Lake
and all persons interested in the improvement of Green Lake. The GLPOA is a non-profit
organization formed for the protection and improvement of Green Lake. |
| What is the
Membership Fee? |
The fee is $50 per calendar year. The fees are used
for GLPOA projects and services providing for:
- Representation in dealing with the concern property owners share with DNR, MPCA, EPA,
etc.
- Interesting newsletters, especially during the winter, telling of happenings around the
lake.
- Representation at Variance Board and Permit Hearings on matters concerning the welfare
of Green Lake.
- Communication, if necessary, to advise of any catastrophic storms on the lake, provided
we have your winter address and telephone numbers if you sign up for patrol services.
- Caterpillar spraying in May.
- Association with Patrol Service which starts during the middle of October and every two
weeks until the middle of April. Subscribers receive a post card informing you of any
external damage or forced entry or if your property appears to be O. K. This service is
only $30 per year.
- Representation regarding Highway 23 on the west side of the west side of the lake and
also the east side and south side of Green Lake.
- Establishing a web site at www.greenlakespicer.com
to assist members in current communication for year round information and updates.

| What are the
Caterpillar Spraying Donation Fees? |
| Caterpillar spraying fees are included
in the annual membership fee. The spraying occurs in May with media
announcements on the date and time. |
| What is the fee
for the Winter Patrol? |
The Winter Patrol
provides inspection of your property during the off season from the middle
of October to the middle of April for $30. |
