GREEN LAKE PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION
REGULAR MEETING
SATURDAY, 22 JULY 2000
GREEN LAKE BIBLE CAMP
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairperson Ron Dobbs. Also present were G. Anderson, C. Burmeister, L. Fredrickson, O. Hagen, W. Halvorson, B. Haug, G. OConnor, S. Peterson, M. Wacholz, and T. Frazee. Special guest Marlon Orson of the New London Ambulance Service.
Absent was R. Figenskau.
A change in the agenda to add item 6.5 was presented by G. Anderson to address the issue of the assistance to the New London Ambulance Association. The item will be added to the agenda as 6.5.
Motion by Halvorson, seconded by Haug, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of Saturday 13 May 2000. Motion carried. Motion by Burmeister, seconded by Anderson to approve the minutes of the annual meeting of 16 June 2000. Motion carried.
Motion by OConnor, seconded by Wacholz, to approve the treasurers report.

COMMITTEE REPORTS -
| Caterpillar | Norway and Nest Lake have asked to look at the potential of spraying in 2001 at the same time as Green Lake. |
| Education | Items to be considered under the Education Committee will be the Antique Car Run, the 4th of July Road Race, Fishing Regulations, educating owners of the use of boats/buoys on the lake along with phosphate free fertilizer. |
| Variance | 3 Variances have been submitted for this month. Discussion was held regarding them. |
| Sewer and Water | The east shore bids were acceptable but they wish to settle North Shore First. New bidding on the North shore by 22 August. Will hook up year round homes first followed by seasonal dwellings. The public assessment hearing scheduled for August will not be held this year. The assessment for 2001 tax will include the user fee of $378 or up to $400.00 with assessment hearing next year and first assessment on tax roll for 2001 year. |

| Web Page | The web page is being used with over 1,000 hits as of today. Bonnie is making the web page user friendly and would like to have the Sheriff Department write an article on boats and/or buoys. Also include this with the April news letter. |
OLD BUSINESS
5.1 Wild Flowers
Chairperson Burmeister reported that the Wildflowers have been planted as stated in the
July Breeze. The correction being that they planted 3 acres and not 30 acres as reported.
NEW BUSINESS
6.1 Committee Assignments
Chairperson Ron Dobbs asked for volunteers for Committees for the 2000-2001 year.

6.2 Membership Minnesota Lakes Association
Discussion was held about the pros and cons of joining the Minnesota Lakes Association. Dues would be $200.00 per year. Item will be placed on agenda for the August meeting.
6.3 Chairperson Ron Dobbs distributed a sheet showing the meeting dates for the 2000-2001 fiscal year. Meetings will be at the Green Lake Bible camp as follows:

6.4 Sewer/Water Picnic
Discussion by O. Hagen to have the Green Lake Property Owners invited to a picnic when the Sewer/Water Plants are completed. This would be the Boards way of saying Thank you to our members. Motion by OConnor, seconded by Haug that we begin planning for this picnic/get together for the summer of 2001. This item will be placed on the agenda for the August meeting.
6.5 New London Ambulance
Gwynne Anderson introduced Marlon Orson who represents the New London Ambulance Association. Mr. Orson gave a background of the Ambulance crew and asked the board for assistance, if possible, in purchasing a BAXSTRAP BOARD.. Mr. Orson stated they have one and would like to have 2 additional boards for transporting patients. The cost of each board is $280.00, or total of $560.00. Motion by Hagen, seconded by OConnor that the Green Lake Property Owners Association present a gift in the amount of $600.00 to the New London Ambulance Association to purchase two BAXSTRAP BOARDS. Motion carried.
Motion by Hagen, seconded by Fredrickson to adjourn. Motion carried.
